A quiet exploration of contrast and transition, this large-scale textile work moves gradually from deep black into soft white—an interplay of shadow and light translated through fiber.
Built through a combination of handcraft techniques—crocheting, knitting, and felting—each element forms part of a layered, tactile landscape. The surface shifts and evolves, revealing density, softness, and rhythm within the material. Cotton rope and wool become both structure and gesture, shaped slowly by hand over weeks of work.
This piece is created as a bespoke work. Each version carries the same intention, yet no two are ever identical. Subtle variations in tone, texture, and composition are inherent to the process and give the work its singular presence.
Suspended directly against the wall, the form remains free of a visible support, allowing the textile to exist as an organic, sculptural plane.
